Ferry Project Chronology of Events
- 1997 - An idea is born
- 1998 - Committee formed and money donated
- 1999 - First house rented with £300
- 2000 - £100,000 funding raised, first employee 16 people helped
- 2001 - First property bought, 40 people a year helped
- 2003 - Ferry moves into Mill Close. Now helping 75 people a year
- 2005 - Partnership with Luminus starts
- 2006 - Ferry becomes a subsidiary of Luminus and opens an office in Wisbech. Now helping over 100 people a year
- 2010 - Ferry Moves into Octavia View now helping over 150 people a year. Art gallery opens
- 2011 - Night Shelter and shop opens and education courses start. Now helping nearly 300 people a year
- 2012 - Octavia's Café opens
- 2013 - First Wedding, printing business starts, Ferry takes over management of the Queen Mary Centre
