Over the next year, we will expand the range of education services we provide under the guidance of our dedicated Education Officer.  Our aim is to provide high-quality education programmes that not only offer recognised qualifications, but also offer personal tuition to ensure students receive all the necessary support for the duration of their studies, and in transitioning to gainful employment.

This begins with the basic ‘Access for All’ course, designed for Ferry Project clients and members of the community. It is conducted at Ferry Project headquarters in Octavia View, Wisbech. The purpose of the course is to build self-esteem and confidence, as well as give practical instruction on essential life skills to required for independent living.

  • Budgeting
  • IT
  • First Aid
  • Maths
  • English
  • Volunteering.

Other courses and professional qualifications include:

  • ESOL
  • Physical and Social Development
  • Functional Skills English
  • Functional Skills Maths
  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery
  • Employability Awards

These courses will be conducted at Octavia View and Queen Mary Centre. Ferry Project is looking to expand these courses into Chatteris and March in the near future. Stay tuned!
