Cookery Book Launched
On Saturday we hosted a fabulous book launch at Octavia View, the Ferry Project HQ.
About 100 people came to celebrate the launch of a new cookery book by acclaimed chef and recipe writer, Alison Crouch. The Four Seasons contains 40 tasty seasonal recipes and also tells the story of the Ferry Project charity over the past 25 years.
The event saw many copies of the book being purchased, copious amounts of food samples available, all from recipes contained within the book, and of course, some celebratory (non-alcoholic) bubbly!
Keith Smith spoke and outlined the work of Ferry Project, whilst Alison talked about her passion for food and the work of the Ferry Project Cookery School. She also shared some anecdotes of the process of writing a cookery book. Matt McChlery also spoke and encouraged everyone to nominate Alison for Velvet Magazine's Food and Drink Awards 2025 as 'Food & Drink Hero of the Year'- you can also do so by clicking the button below.
All profits from the sale of the book go towards helping the homeless in Fenland.
