Fenland Food Festival 2025: A Feast for the Senses
Fenland Food Festival is back on Saturday 6th September 2025. Hosted by Ferry Project Cookery School, the festival is a celebration of local food producers and suppliers from in and around the fens. This much anticipated event promises a delightful experience for food lovers and families alike.
As the festival continues to establish itself as a key highlight on the Cambridgeshire and Norfolk foodie calendar, it aims to showcase the exceptional food grown and produced in the fens. This year, we are excited to celebrate local products that are not only delicious but also sustainable, highlighting the importance of supporting our regional producers.
Join us for a day filled with tastings, live music, demonstrations, talks, have-a-go cookery sessions and the opportunity to meet our passionate local producers and suppliers. The festival is dedicated to all things 'fenland food,' offering attendees a unique chance to discover the rich culinary offerings of our area.
Entry to the Fenland Food Festival is completely free, making it an accessible event for everyone.
There are already over 15 food vendors booked in, along with four unique street food vans. There will also be live music from Georgia Shackleton, a folk musician who writes ‘beautiful songs’ (says BBC Radio 2), and local musician Matt McChlery. There will also be a cookery demonstration by author and recipe writer, Alison Crouch as well as a book signing. There will be a cheese talk and tasting by Cheese and Bees as well as a talk and cookery demonstration by The Orchard Cambridgeshire and Alison Crouch.
The food market includes vendors such as: Fruit Pig, Marshland Cider, Cross Keys and Bees, Bramblebee Farm, Fenland Orchard, Cuppa Jo Jo, Sweet Bakes by Emma, Flutterby Pantry, Man Food, Beestachio macarons and many more.
New for this year, there will also be a Street Food Zone with food vans offering pizza; Lebanese lamb and falafel; goat curry and jerk chicken; and ice cream.
We invite you, your family, and friends to come and indulge in the vibrant flavours of the fens. Mark your calendars for this exciting day of food, community, and fun! For more information about the festival or to get involved, please visit our website or contact us directly.
