The event will be held at the Queen Mary Centre in Wisbech, which will be transformed into the fashion capital of the Fens for the evening! Complete with drinks, canapes, a catwalk, lights and over 20 volunteers from the local community who will be modelling a variety of clothing styles including work-wear, casual wear and evening wear.

Ferry Project have also collaborated with the College of West Anglia for this event and will be giving work experience opportunities to many students in a variety of areas such as sound and lighting, photography and videography, video production, hair and beauty and fashion design and performance. Students will not only be able to practise their skills in a real-world environment but also benefit from working alongside the professionals who will also be helping to make the show another dazzling success. There will be one section of the show that will highlight designs created by the Fashion students from the college – so you will be able to get to see the work of some of the designers of the future on the catwalk.

Lydia Dennis, Work Placement and Careers Coordinator from the College of West Anglia says: “It has been a privilege for CWA to collaborate with The Ferry Project in their upcoming charity fashion show, providing our creative students the opportunity to showcase their talents across fashion, performing arts, creative media, music, photography, art & design and hair & beauty. Our students have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes, creating costumes and accessories, along with filming and composing a short film addressing homelessness that will be showcased on the night. We can’t wait to see their creations come to life at the fashion show.”

Sandra Ferreira, CEO of Ferry Project says: “We’re proud to bring our Fashion Show back to Wisbech and use creativity to highlight the realities of rural homelessness. Partnering with the College of West Anglia has brought incredible energy to this year’s event, with students contributing skills across design, media and production. It’s a brilliant example of community collaboration celebrating local talent while raising vital support for people experiencing homelessness.”

Tickets for the Fashion Show are now available on Eventbrite and cost between £5 - £7.50 which include a drink and canapes upon arrival. All proceeds are going towards helping the homeless.

Last year’s fashion show was so much fun that tickets are already selling fast. So why not join in the fun and support a good cause and help to celebrate creativity and philanthropy in our community.
