This morning we received a very kind donation from an amazing young lady called Lexi who is only six years old. She popped in to the Ferry Project to drop of a huge donation of tolietries, baby snacks, wet wipes, colouring in books and even some special care packages for the mums in our mums and babies haven.

We mainly cater for homeless single adults, however, we do have a special haven of six units that is specially set aside for families, which Fenland District Council can refer families  who have become homeless to. Currently we have five mums and five babies in residence.

Lexi had also written a note explaining that she had saved up her Birthday and Christmas money and wanted to use it to buy something to help the mums and babies who are currently experiencing homelessness. Her kindness is overwhelming and we think she is an absolute superstar!
