Ferry Project Celebrates Double Finalist Nomination at Fenland Citizen Business Awards 2026

We are thrilled to announce that the Ferry Project has been recognised as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at this year’s Fenland Business Awards! Building on our success from last year, where we proudly won the Best Social Enterprise award, we have once again demonstrated our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

This year, our focus has shifted to highlighting the exceptional work of the Ferry Project Cookery School. Through this initiative, we engage with clients experiencing homelessness and enrich the wider community in Wisbech and beyond. Our efforts have successfully showcased the meaningful impact we’re having locally, addressing critical social issues while fostering community spirit.

Additionally, we are honoured to announce that our founder and CEO, Keith Smith, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Business Leader of the Year award. Keith's exemplary leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to supporting those facing challenges set him apart as a remarkable contender for this prestigious award. With his retirement approaching in March, this nomination reflects a well-deserved acknowledgement of his contributions.

We eagerly anticipate the upcoming interviews with the judges, along with the esteemed dinner and prize-giving ceremony scheduled for 13th March 2026. This recognition not only motivates us to continue our mission but also amplifies our commitment to creating lasting change in the Fenland area.

Stay tuned for more updates as we celebrate these significant achievements at the Fenland Business Awards!
