Ferry Project: Multiple Award Finalists

At Ferry Project, we are very aware that awards season is upon us.

Having already won three awards earlier in the year at the Fenland Citizen Business Awards, Ferry Project is showing no signs of slowing down.

Recently, the founder of the Ferry Project, Keith Smith, achieved a shortlisted position for the Lifetime Achievement Award in Aico's Community Awards 2026.

In recent weeks we have received news that Ferry Project have also made it into the following 'Finalist' positions of several awards, all to be announced in June:

  • Inside Housing's 'Housing Heroes Awards' - Lifetime Achievement in Housing (Keith Smith
  • Inside Housing's 'Housing Heroes Awards' - Best Company Health and Wellbeing Initiative (Ferry Project)
  • Inside Housing's 'Women in Housing' Awards - Wider Sector Inclusion Champion (Sandra Ferreira)
  • Inside Housing's 'Women in Housing' Awards - Woman of the Year (Sandra Ferreira)
  • Homeless Link Excellence Awards - Successful Parnetship Award - (Ferry Project)
  • Velvet Magazine (Cambridgeshire & Suffolk) Food & Drink Awards - Food & Drink Hero (Ferry Project Cookery School)

No only are these awards and nominations reflective of the outsanding service Ferry Project provides across the charity, they also help to raise the profile of the charity. This helps to position Ferry Project as an excellent, expert homelessness provider and therefore, one that is extremely knowledgeable and can help inform national policy decisions around homelessness, and rural homelessness in particular.

A big congratulations to all the teams and partners who have been recognised and who continue to work trielessly to help people escape and heal from homelessness and move on to stable, independent living.
