Worried about keeping your home, or finding it hard to manage your tenancy? Our Tenancy Support Service offers friendly, practical help to people who need support to maintain their accommodation and live as independently as possible.
We can help you:
- Understand your tenancy and what’s expected of you.
- Address rent arrears, neighbour disputes, anti-social behaviour concerns, or difficulties speaking with your landlord.
- Work with landlords, housing associations, letting agents and housing teams to find a way forward.
- Get support with housing applications, HomeLink and other accommodation matters.
- Make a plan to address tenancy concerns and reduce the risk of losing your home.
Preventing homelessness
It can help to get support early, before a housing problem becomes a crisis. We work with individuals and families who may be at risk of eviction or losing their accommodation, including when relationship difficulties, money worries or health concerns are affecting their housing.
We can help you explore your options and, where useful, work with other services to coordinate support.
Practical support for everyday life
We can also support you to:
- Check whether you’re receiving the benefits, grants or other financial help you may be entitled to.
- Manage your budget, household bills and rent.
- Build everyday skills and routines for independent living.
- Connect with local services, education, training, volunteering or employment opportunities.
- Get help accessing other services and speaking up about what you need.
Support is shaped around you, your circumstances and the outcome that matters to you.
